Bossypants by Tina Fey
Bossypants is Tina Fey's essays and memoir on the life she's lived so far. It follows her trajectory from small-town Pennsylvania to being a writer on Saturday Night Live to starring and being the executive producer of 30 Rock. She's achieved success in a what's traditionally a male-dominated world, comfortable in the bossy role she's had to assume. She jokes and riffs about her attractiveness, roles and wife and mother, internet trolls, and the Sarah Palin roles which made her a household name. Bossypants has received positive reviews with Pop Matters saying, "It is amazing, but not because it’s smartly, sometimes scathingly, funny and chock full of wit. It’s amazing because Tina Fey is a strong, mature, honest, generally classy human being, and not afraid to show it."
