The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower by Stephen King

Stephen King's The Dark Tower saga finally comes to an end in this final book in the series. Roland Deschain's ka-tet is spread out over when and where, struggling to reach the Dark Tower and prevent its destruction. Jake and Father Callahan get involved in a shootout in a Manhattan restaurant called the Dixie Pig. Susannah gives birth to Mordred, a shape-shifting entity. Roland and Eddie head for Maine where the border between worlds is thinning and eventually to the Dark Tower. Can they stop its destruction and will Roland find out what fate awaits him at the top of the tower? The Washington Post says, "The seventh and final volume, The Dark Tower, should more than satisfy his voracious readers. It is an absorbing, constantly surprising novel filled with true narrative magic, a fitting capstone to a uniquely American epic."
