I Don't Know How She Does It by Allison Pearson

Allison Pearson is a British author who writes a weekly column in a newspaper there. Her much-hyped book, I Don't Know How She Does It is about the struggles of a working mother. Kate Reddy, the protagonist of the book, is a successful businesswoman who tries to find the right balance between work and home, yet filled with self-doubt that she can ever succeed at both. Her travails are sometimes funny, sometimes sad, yet full of learning and wisdom. How well Allison Pearson succeeds with this novel might depend on how well each reader can identify with Kate Reddy and the problems she encounters on a daily basis.
