Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King

Full Dark, No Stars contains four novellas that highlight the depths of depravity attainable by some men, and women. The stories include a farmer who decides he must murder his wife to avoid moving to the city, a woman who writes cozy mysteries and plots revenge against the man who assaulted her, a man who makes a deal with the devil to improve his life at the expense of another's, and a wife who makes a shocking discovery of her husband's secret while he is out of town. Stephen King's stories have received mostly positive reviews with BookPage saying, "Each of the tales in this strong collection features enough frightening scenes to provoke a spate of nightmares. And yet, like all the work of this master of suspense and the macabre, itís unlikely youíll be able to put any of them down until youíve reached the end."
