I See You Everywhere by Julia Glass
I See You Everywhere is the story of two sisters, Clem and Louisa, who have spent a lifetime with friction between them. Clem was their mother's obvious favorite. Clem is an environmentalist and free spirit who cherishes her freedom. Louisa is more strait-laced and a frustrated artist who felt she had to settle for what she's had. Their story is told from both their perspectives in different vignettes over the course of their lives. As different as they were, they couldn't deny how much they still had in common. Julia Glass' novel has received mostly positive reviews with the Seattle Times saying, "There is a constant danger that this story, with its recurrent theme of feuding between the sisters, will become monotonous. But such is the power of Glass' writing that we glide along with her. A deft twist at the end makes for a most moving finish."
