In Garrison Keillor's Love Me, Larry Wyler is an aspiring writer in St. Paul, Minnesota who has big dreams of success. When his novel becomes a bestseller, he leaves for the high life of New York City. His wife, however, refuses to go with him and tells him to come home once he's gotten New York out of his system.
